Funny Story.....Thank the Lord for AAA!

So Sunday, Im driving to get coffee/go to Bee's house and I suddenly feel like my car is off balance. Being the careful car owner I am, I pull over and to my dismay my back driver's side tire is completely flat. Mind you, im still on campus so this was significantly less horrific than it could have been in other circumstances. Anyway in utter panic mode, I call Daddy and get instructions for what to do next. Obvi, call AAA. So thankfully the AAA guy comes and changes my tire to this super ugly replacement that does NOT match the other 3, but Im just grateful for something that rolls honestly. However, it is low on air. So, i take it upon myself to fill it at the as station. After inquiring if there is a service technician who could do this for me, and being shot down, i get down to business. I scramble and dig for 3 Quarters to fill the air machine and then proceed to grab the little air tube pump thing and stick in in the tire. I apparently didnt get in in all the way bc when i squeezed the handle to begin the filling process, the hose SHOT backward into a tree behind the machine. After pulling it out from the branches, I did actually end up completing the task at hand. (sucessfully, I might add.

Day 2 of the story, today, I made a 7 am trip to Gateway Tires on Jackson Ave. Of course they dont carry the type of tires that Nellie has on her, so I had to special order them, after waiting in line behind a variety of truck driver/farmer/etc clientelle, who all knew a WHOLE LOT more about their respective vehicles than I did. Anyway, should have a tire at some point this week, so if you see Nellie/Me dont make fun of her weird spare tire.

Well in other news...
Happy Birthday Daddy! I love you Daddy! Thank you for being a constant example of a strong, Godly leader of our household, who still knows how to have fun! You are awesome and I hope to find a guy that is even 1/2 as great as you one day!!

First day of school was great! I think I like my classes a lot, and I think that it will be a very doable semester with the proper amount of work put in. Looking forward to going to my other 3 classes (two today, one wed night)!
