Diagnosed: Controlling Perfectionist

Well, this weekend was pretty uneventful, so on right on par with my life these days. haha!

I saw "No Strings Attached" with Sunny on friday night...it was a cute storyline, but it was a little to0 R-rated for me. Ill stick to my PG/PG13 rom coms and sports movies.

Saturday I tried to be productive and do a little work for school. Everyone else is like complaining and griping about how hard their semesters are and how much work they already have...ummm am i missing something?? My semester will be hard, but i dont have a lot of work in any of my classes...lots of them are discussion based so one week of the semester (the one where i have to lead the class) will be difficult and busy, but other than that....minimal hmwk. I think it might be since im so far ahead than the typical junior, that ive already had my really hard, overwhelming, crazy workload semester. So i guess ill just work ahead and try to get a good chunk of my thesis done...That thesis...its looming and will be a significant undertaking to say the very least.

Sunday we had the orientation for the Ole Miss Women's Council Leadership Series...its basically a group of campus student leaders that meet every Thursday night, have a speaker and learn about leadership...how many times do you think i can use the word "leader/leadership" in one sentence???

Anyway, we did these personality tests, like the Meyers-Briggs stuff, and to the surprise of NO ONE, im a "Controller". My second was also no surprise, "Analyst". So basically im a controlling perfectionist. yea, id say thats pretty accurate. They were talking about the different types and it was just so funny to see where all of my friends fit in. They described each personality type by a different type of shoe...mine was a black pump. Also accurate, as i am a firm believer you can never have too many pairs of black heels. :) Plus, thats what I purchased with my christmas money, the most fabulous pair of black heels with glitter on the heel part...Micheal Kors.

This week looks exciting- fairly easy workload (as mentioned) and MY BIRTHDAY ON THURSDAY!!
