Tough Weekend for the Rebs...

Well....the Grove was fun? Even with Jeremiah Masoli (the NCAA overturned their decision so he can play! yay!) it was a tough loss this weekend to a D-2 school...Does not make me optimistic for the season! Oh well... as my mom says, We are Ole Miss. Next weekend we play Tulane in NOLA (i wish i was going but i just have way to much school work to do!) and maybe the Rebs can turn it around in the SuperDome.

Apart from the football game, I have had a quiet and homework focused weekend. I went to First Baptist Church this morning with Kari Anna. The message was about weathering storms in our lives, and seeing what the Lord is trying to accomplish when He tries us. This afternoon and this week, unfortunately I have to write two papers, read a novel, study for a quiz, and do readings in three textbooks this week...actually, all before Wednesday! Busy busy busy! I also have a scholarship dinner, crusade practice and a crusade dinner I'd really like to go to on Wed. night if I get out of class in time!

Im watching the Patriot right now...calling it a well-deserved study break, since I do have all day tommorow to continue to work (Labor Day Holiday!). It really makes me miss DC in a weird way! I just love America so much, and Im so proud to live here! People have given up everything so that I can have the freedom to worship freely, express my opinions, and enjoy the other rights I take for granted everyday. Sappy** haha! But God Bless the USA!
