Today is Wednesday, so I got to go meet with Christie...we had a really really really great talk today...
Just started a David Platt Bible study on James...and our topic today was trials. God is SO amazing. I cant even find the right words at all. He is unchanging---that means that He is the absolute best He can possible be (which is completely perfection) and will never ever get worse and cannot get any better! He wants that for us too....how amazing is that?? He wants us to have true joy in everything, every trial included. We should never "Waste a Trial" wishing it would just end, but REJOICE that our faith is being strengthened!!!
Crusade was on peace in relationships last night...yea, dating/marriage relationships...the hard stuff. Thats such a struggle, especially in the "Ole Miss Bubble". Its so hard to get it into my head that singleness is not a punishment!! Its a blessing and the Lord is using this time to get me closer to Him, and preparing my heart (and hopefully hubbie's) for our future relationship. God is the only one that can really fufill me, not a boy or a great job or anything else! Thats my prayer for this semester...that I would just totally surrender and rely on Him for everything. The Lord's plan is wayyyy better than mine, i mean, He created the entire UNIVERSE and still knows EVERY SINGLE hair on my head. WOW!!!
