I only have about 20 hours left in my college career plus a thesis. WHAT?? I mean, im ready and everything...but at the same time, thats so scary to think that this time next year, I will be working/living on my own in DC. I KNOW without doubt that that is what I am supposed to do. But it really doesnt make it any less scary!
Who will my friends be? Will I even make friends? What if I end up not liking my job? What is i dont get into law/grad school like i planned? So scary. But its reassuring to know its all in Gods plan. He already knows the answers to all of those questions plus the ones I havent even thought about yet! He is so amazingly good to me, even when I dont fully trust in Him to provide for me and give me the "abundant life". I just pray that I can be a light on the Hill for Christ and leave a mark on DC. Not only my mark, but above all HIS.
Summer plans are falling together...i got an internship with Thad Cochran (cant remember if I already told you that or not!) so that'll be great! Im just so glad I get to go back to the greatest city in the world! Annnnnd to make it even better, LAUREN will be back!!!!
I love my sweet Ole Miss friends so much. What sparked this thought? Rachel and I went to BJ and John's house last night and ended up just hanging out and playing video games (yes we are apparently 12 year old boys) until one in the morning! It was one of my favorite nights of college...NO JOKE. Ive never had friends like this before, ive never trusted anyone like I trust them, or cared about people this much. That scares me too...these are the people that KNOW me. My heart, my dreams, my secrets. We've laughed/cried (rarely) together and shared a ton of precious precious experiences....Where will we all be in a year and a half? I just hope they dont forget about me! I know i wont forget about them...ever. Sorry, that was such a SAPPY paragraph...but just give me a break, they are few and far between haha!
Anyway, those are my thoughts for the evening :)
PS- italy in THREE DAYS. ahh!
