Yesterday, I had my usual Wed. meetings with Christie :) We talked about James 2, continuing with the David Platt "Faith Works" series. This dealt mostly with accompanying our faith with actions. "In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead." (James 2:17) Whoa. Thats super convicting! like I said in my last post, Im sooooo much more comfortable sharing the gospel and talking about Jesus with others that are like me...my heart has just never really been with community service. Its something I definitely need to work on. Its going to be a tough challenge...but thats definitely going to be in my prayers. The Lord encourages us that what we do for the least of our brother/sisters, we do for Him. C.O.N.V.I.C.T.I.N.G....haha! Crusade was great on tuesday night...Lacey sang with us for the first time and Victoria gave her testimony, both of which were awesome!
I did really well on my speech in ISS last night :) and Hannah and I got to go on a night walk together. Always so much fun to catch up and hear about her life!
Today, Bill Clinton came and spoke on campus today, at a rally for Travis Childers...we got out of class to go hear him in the Grove. Its absolutely gorgeous outside today! We have Care Walk this afternoon. Its a 2 mile walk around campus for breast cancer awareness, and a mandatory rush event. Its a fun way to get to know more of the rushies, and also get some exercise.
Cannot WAIT until tomorrow! Tuscalooosssaaa! Even though, I really think my rebels are going to get beat by a good 50-100 points, its still going to be a great weekend. The Crusade group that is going sounds like a fun bunch, and we are going to an amazing Church on Sunday! Im also looking forward to getting to know some people that I dont usually hang out with on a daily basis. Hotty Toddy! (oh, and DEF cannot wait to see that bama stadium! ive heard stories haha!)
